I think I saw this commercial many times during Maury on KDOC-TV Los Angeles on LocalBTV.

This ad drives me a little nuts. The younger woman is wearing a wedding ring & they make a point of showing it, so they’re married. That leads me to 2 obvious questions. WHY is Charlie calling his Mother-in-Law Mrs Garcey? And why is a married couple using condoms & not a more permanent birth control solution like normal people do? (Yes, some Karen will now reply to tell me why SHE had to use condoms with her husband…don’t care…the Vast Majority gave em up as soon as we could.) Anyway, this ad had the potential to be perfect & hilarious, but I wind up yelling at Charlie & his wife every time it comes on instead…😂

♦️Spoiler Alert♦️ When that fool said "yeah I brought them" I lost my mind!!! This is the funniest commercial EVER. It was bad enough he couldn't hear her in the beginning, talking about "whats that?" loud as could be. He didn't even pick up on the fact that she was trying to be on the down low. 😂😂😂😆😆

Anyone who suffers from Misophonia or sound sensory disorder knows what I mean when I say I can't hit the remote fast enough when this horrid commercial airs. Why do people think it's clever to force the amplified sound of people whispering into your television? It's actually painful to people with this type of sensory issue. Similar to the feeling of nails scratched down a chalkboard...multiply that times 500 and plug it into your nervous system with an electric cattle prod and you get the general idea of what it feels like to hear a trigger sound. Whispering is a big one. Another is the sound of people crunching or eating....something recent directors think is so cool and clever to put into film and TV and makes people like me want to smash my television and never, ever buy their product. Awful.

Hi, captain nit pick here. Why didn't she just go up to him and whisper the question into his ear? Whispering across the counter is a terrible way to communicate. The old man only heard it because he had super awesome Eargo hearing aids.
